Yes, I rented the ropes twice (4 weeks total in the Bahamas) and sailed my boat staff were sometimes too.

Personally, I prefer my own distributed provisioning was added to the moorings. It is cheaper and has more flexibility to get what you want. Take a taxi to a local supermarket. Several liquor stores are a short distance from the base in Marsh Harbor. Expect more of almost 1.5-fold, as you spend it in the United States. It's easy, supplies and spirits in Treasure Cay, Hope Town, or New Plymouth to receive, not the plan from the outset committed. (Eating, drinking, and not begin in the man-o-war) in most places, dinner at about $ 22. If you consider arriving late to the service of sunset drinks and snacks docking order.

Some things you should do:

Hope Town: big dinner and affordable Captain Jack into the water. Go and visit the lighthouse.

Treasure Cay: For the price of a tie, you have to use the showers,Pool and beach. Picnic Nice, expensive and a good restaurant.

Little Harbor: Pete's Pub. Catch the Sculpture Gallery next door. If you see will not do anything in the foundry. Larger units can leave the incoming and high tide, but often anchored at the corner of Bay and former Robinson took the boat for lunch.

Snorkeling: Sandy Cay is good, but exposed to swell in many conditions. I love the reefs in the north-east of Great Guana have mooring boats. Fowl Cay is good snorkeling and can be beaten on the day to leave the anchorage.

Exploring the "flow" in the vicinity of Snake Cay is cool. Anchor behind Snake Cay, in the prevailing winds.

Spoil Cay - also known as Shell Cay is an interesting stop if you want a small island with no one inside.

If conditions and time permit, north of Whale Cay, open No Name Cay, New Plymouth and Manjack. You will see the people, unless the Charter.

The Abacos navigation in shallow water, but knowing that the tides and where the boat and notAdapting to different times, that this opens up all sorts of wonderful possibilities.

I usually pay to buy shaving cream and suntan lotion and, if available. I was happy with the diving equipment. Get a couple of bungee cords or rope light, because they have not done beating the boat traps, etc.

I have some photos from my last two trips:

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. I would like more talk.
